Well not really. The South China Mall is probably the worlds largest mall with another distinction. Its the emptiest mall too. This blog post has more details. There are quite a few of these kind of big, bigger, biggest malls coming up in India and one can't help but wonder if some will fall prey to something similar. Deepak Shenoy has an interesting take.
